Catholic Center Room Reservation: For Students

Uptown Catholic Student Center
 (Free Room Reservation Agreement for University of Cincinnati Students)
This Agreement is entered into by and between Uptown Catholic Student Center (“Uptown Catholic”), located at [insert address], and the undersigned individual (“Student”), a current student of the University of Cincinnati.
1. PURPOSE
Uptown Catholic offers certain spaces on its premises for the free use and reservation by University of Cincinnati students for meetings, study, social gatherings, and similar non-commercial activities.

2. ELIGIBILITY
Only currently enrolled students of the University of Cincinnati may reserve and use the facilities. A valid UC student ID may be required.

3. AVAILABLE SPACES
Students may reserve rooms located on the first floor, Second Floor and Basement of the Uptown Catholic Student Center. Availability is subject to existing reservations and operational hours, which may change at the discretion of Uptown Catholic.

4. RESERVATION PROCESS
All reservations must be made through the official reservation system (online or in-person). Students must receive a confirmation before using the space.

5. CONDITIONS OF USE
The Student agrees to:

• Use the space for lawful, non-commercial purposes only.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the facilities.
• Refrain from any conduct that is disruptive, damaging, dangerous, or unlawful.
• Ensure that no alcohol, drugs, or smoking occurs on the premises.
• Comply with all posted rules and directions from Uptown Catholic staff or volunteers.

6. NO FEES OR CHARGES
All room usage is provided free of charge. Uptown Catholic receives no payment, donation, or compensation from the Student for use of the facilities under this agreement.
7. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
The Student acknowledges and agrees that Uptown Catholic is not responsible for any injury, loss, theft, damage, or other harm (whether to persons or property) that may occur while using the facilities, including but not limited to:

• Accidents, falls, or physical injuries.
• Loss or theft of personal items.
• Damage caused by third parties or other guests.
• Any illness or exposure to health hazards.

The Student assumes all risks associated with the use of the facilities, and fully releases and discharges Uptown Catholic, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to use of the premises.
This release applies to claims of negligence, except in cases of willful or wanton misconduct.

8. NO LIABILITY FOR THIRD PARTIES
Uptown Catholic is not responsible for the conduct of other users of the facility or guests of the Student. The Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Uptown Catholic from any claim or legal action resulting from their use of the space or the conduct of their guests.

9. MODIFICATION AND ENFORCEMENT
Uptown Catholic reserves the right to update or modify this agreement and its policies at any time. Violations of this agreement may result in suspension of privileges or removal from the premises.
